October 12, 2019 Border Book Bash @ Biblioteca Las Americas – Mercedes, Texas
September 14-15, 2019 The Spooky Spectacle @ Will Rogers Memorial Center – Ft. Worth, Texas
Had a great time in Ft. Worth attending the Spooky Spectacle. It was my first Horror convention and they had some COOL stuff. Met MIKO HUGHES, the original Gage in Pet Sematary and the cool kid in Kindergarten Cop and Full House. Enjoyed seeing old friends and hanging out with 3 of my favorite author friends!
January 16, 2019 Teen Bookfest by the Bay @ American Bank Center – Corpus Christi, Texas
Always enjoy this event, celebrating the release of Councils and Keepers, Book 2 in The Dead Club series. Had a great time with students and fellow panelists/friends Miracle Austin and Ashley Dotson!
January 31, 2019 Career Day @ St. Anthony’s Catholic School – Robstown, Texas
Had a great Career Day visit at St. Anthony’s Catholic School talking about computers, writing books and being a musician. Kids were fun and a true joy to be around. Thank you for the invite!
March 28, 2019 Writing Camp Visit @ Double File Trail Elementary – Round Rock, Texas
Had a great visit with almost a hundred 4th graders at Double File Trail Elementary in Round Rock! They are having “Writing Camps” all week to prep for the upcoming STAAR writing test and I got to talk to and motivate them about how even after all these years, I still use the fundamentals of writing I learned in school.
Thank you for the invite, DFT, which will always hold a special place since that’s where my son and two nieces attended. Good luck to all on the big test!
